My Photography Gear

Over the course of the years since I started my career, I have downsized and limited my gear for the following reasons:

  1. Less is more - being able to carry minimal gear allows for the flexibility of being able to carry my equipment wherever I go without having to worry about what I should bring when. Simplifying the process helps me concentrate on the content rather than the equipment.

  2. Focus on creativity - having less also allows for me to be creative in the way I approach photography. Rather than thinking about the perfect lens for the perfect shot, utilizing my positioning to create the best shot with the equipment on hand.

  3. Imperfect is perfect - some grain from bad lighting and some of the pitfalls of not having the most high-end camera actually end up adding a bit of flavor - practice your post-processing skills to push your creative boundaries.
